and I am staying put in Athens for it. I was going to go to Crete, then Corfu, then got lazy. Also, I imagine travelling out of Athens during the Easter holiday would be a bitch. I will definitely check out services over Easter though.
And now, another list.
1. I only have one more dive to go to get my certification. Too bad it’s the deep dive. Which I still have issues about, apparently, as last week the familiar feeling of a cold hand squeezing my insides came over me as we descended into the big blue. But I still need to work on my compass navigation skills, because they are iffy.
2. I am so fucked for my Orthodox paper. Let’s just say I am way in over my head and should have started research sooner so I could have been more thorough. Zizioulas is incredibly complex and requires more than the cursory glance I am used to giving my research material. Hm. Perhaps this means I should improve my research methods.
3. On the other hand, Honors is looking up. I’ve narrowed down my choices to a few, and aside from talking it over with my advisor and making a list of secondary sources and whatnot, I am well on my way to a proper proposal.
4. Next semester’s schedule looks like this:

Of course, I am ignoring the fact that I am at the moment signed up for 300-Level Greek which happens from 1900-2200 on Wednesday nights. That alone is cause enough for me not to take it. The fact that it is Plato’s Symposium is another.
5. The days keep getting longer, I keep getting more exhausted, yet I am not actually accomplishing anything. It’s not a good feeling. I blame the muggy weather. It sucks all the energy out of me. But I should probably stop complaining. I am still in Greece, after all. But not for much longer. Holy shit! I leave in three weeks!

German, Latin, Greek, the Internet (wuss), and… an athletics class? Please to explain that last one.
Also, looking forward to having you back in the States! Remember that once you’re back you’ll wish you were still there.
